Remember that Egg Timer....
Remember that Egg Timer from my last blog.....  I LOVE it!!

As I'm writing this, I have e.ggtimer.com set for 20 minutes...and I swear to you, I will not get up from my yoga ball chair until that timer goes off!  Setting the timer has helped me stay focused on the task at hand.  For whatever reason, that timer is like a drill sergeant watching over my shoulder, making sure I don't let myself get distracted and start anything else, until it announces that I can.  Heck, I don't even get up to go to the bathroom until the timer has beeped & the screen shows Time Expired!  FYI....make sure your speakers aren't turned up too loud or that shrill beeping may just scare the sh*t out of you! LOL!

The oils have truly helped too!  It's pretty ridiculous....  I often say that "the oils won't work if you don't use them."  Touché .   Well, I've been using them.  Shocker....they work!  My favorites have been Clarity or Highest Potential applied to my temples and in my diffuser in my office.  Find your favorites oils, that work best for YOU!

You know what else I'm doing?  Being so much more consistent with starting my day with the Great Day Protocol.  That is such a great way to start the day!  We'll talk about that in an upcoming blog so stay tuned....  :)

The last thing I do, that makes a HUGE difference in the efficiency of my day, is scheduling it--the night before.  I'll literally schedule certain tasks for a block of time on my calendar.  And then, HONOR it!  No cheating just because you can.  This is a great way to start your day with a game-plan that doesn't allow for time wasting!

When it comes right down to it, it's all a DECISION.  It's a decision to use the Egg Timer.  It's a decision to use my oils.  Heck, it's a decision to write a blog instead of playing a game of solitaire!  DECIDE to make the most of your day!
